Pastor Steven Neyhart
Steven Neyhart was born on November 9, 1971 in Watertown, South Dakota, the son of Dale and Joyce Neyhart. He attended grade school in the Dakotas while his father served several congregations in the towns of Estelline (South Dakota), Bismarck (North Dakota), and Gary (South Dakota). High school brought him to Martin Luther Preparatory School in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. After graduating in 1990, Steven attended Northwestern College in Watertown, Wisconsin and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin. He was assigned as Vicar to St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Tomah, Wisconsin for the 1996-1997 school year under Pastors Donald Buch and Richard Waldschmidt. In 1998, he was assigned to serve as pastor of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in North Platte, Nebraska. He was ordained and installed on July 5, 1998.
In November of 2000, Pastor Neyhart began serving Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in McCook, Nebraska when it joined with St. Paul to from a dual parish. From 2004 to 2012, Pastor Neyhart served as Circuit Pastor of the Platte Circuit in the Nebraska District. Pastor Neyhart served in Nebraska until accepting the Divine Call to Faith Ev. Lutheran Church in Reedsburg, Wisconsin in 2012. He was installed at Faith on November 18, 2012. During his time in Reedsburg, Pastor Neyhart has served as Spiritual Growth Pastor for the Scenic South Central Circuit of LWMS. He currently serves on the Western Wisconsin District Nominating Committee.
In August of 1996 Steven married Kathryn Lindner from Beaver Dam, Wisconsin before his vicar year in Tomah. The Lord has blessed them with four children: Madelyn, Aaron, Emma, and Bennett. For Pastor Neyhart, it is an honor and privilege to serve God’s people with God’s Word and a joy and blessing to serve with God’s people as they learn and share God’s Word.

Through our Bible Information Class, our introduction to Christianity explores the basic teachings of the Bible and what our church is all about. No matter what your background or level of understanding, it is designed to unpack the truth of God’s Word. Open discussion and honest questions are welcome and encouraged. This class offers:
clear, relevant, and engaging teaching about God and what the Bible says.
an opportunity to begin a faith journey with other people in a group.
a starting point for those who would like to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion in our fellowship.
